Is Cantaloupe really a fruit?
Cantaloupes are also commonly known as muskmelons, mush melons, rock melons, and Persian melons. In fact, they both come from a similar family i.e. Cucurbitaceae.
These fruits are native to Africa or the hot regions like Arab and Southern parts of India. Cucurbitaceae is a family of edible fruits which doesn’t seem edible at all, therefore some people, at seeing it first time confuse it with rocks or some alien elements.

Though it is very healthy, it can have side effects too, which could be very dangerous at times and can lead to death.
Let us have a look at some risks of eating Cantaloupe at a very high rate i.e. eating more than 3 Cantaloupe per day (quantity varies from person to person calorie intake and their health conditions)

- If you eat 1 cantaloupe you will not require the need for drinking water for next 5-6 hours
